INSTEAD OF HAWAII— HERE ARE THE BEST PLACES TO ELOPE OR GET ENGAGED THIS FALL
These wildly adventurous trip ideas are for couples who were planning to get married or engaged this year in Hawaii— but have had to postpone or cancel the trip.
It’s crazy to think that September is here and there is still much uncertainty for when travel to Hawaii will be safe for both visitors and residents.
Month after month I have had my fingers crossed for some sort of miracle solution to this crisis so that those of you who have made plans to get married or engaged on Kauai or on one of the other incredible islands this year, would be able to do so without putting yourselves or our state’s residents at risk.
But with Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander ethnicities contracting coronavirus at nearly twice the rate that other racial groups are, safety for our local population is of greatest concern. Plus, Hawaii’s medical facilities and care are very limited— our small hospitals definitely would not be able to handle an outbreak— And so I do fear and predict that it won’t be until 2021 for non-residents to be welcomed back safely into our Aina.
Plan B: Luckily, there are other epic views where you can still say your ‘I do’s’ or Propose safely in this fall so YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT!
It’s a bummer Hawaii isn’t an option, but there are still so many other AMAZING PLACES that ARE SAFE AND OPEN for you and your partner to elope to or vacation in this fall!
And the good news is that I am rerouting my fall calendar to a whole bunch of those places 🤗

As a resident of Hawaii for over 6 years now, I know that the islands are one-of-a-kind AND we will definitely need all of your help rebuilding our economy when it is safe again.
To encourage couples to still make commitments this year on the mainland BUT also keep their plans to visit Hawaii in the future, when it is safe again to travel there— I am including a COMPLEMENTARY HONEYMOON SESSION for all fall 2020 mainland elopement bookings!
