I stumbled onto Mal’s website and instantly fell in love with her work. Her website was beautifully organized and made it easy to contact her. Her response was prompt and very informative. She gave location suggestions, a rough timeline of what the day might look like, while still leaving plans open to incorporating some traditional ideas that we had. She made the decision easy… we booked her right away!
Communication with Mal up until the big day was wonderful as well. I tried my best not to be too bothersome but let’s face it… It’s a wedding day and a bride is a bride. I had questions as the day came closer and she was very responsive.
As soon as we arrived in Sedona, we were in awe. She contacted us as soon as she arrived and scouted truly epic locations that would be perfect for our sunrise and sunset pics. On top of that, she accommodated our family’s range of adventuring capabilities for the ceremony portion. It was such a relief and turned out better than we could have imagined. We wouldn’t have changed a thing!
I also have to mention that Halie was soooo amazing as well. I can attest that this is THE DREAM TEAM! So much so that my husband and I want to book an adventure with them for our anniversary and maybe even check out their new Airstream addition! All I can say is: Best. Energy. Ever. They were both very personable, artistic, chill, and made the day perfect. We had a larger than normal group (sorry again about that, ha) and they handled it with ease. That’s right, our whole team totally takes care of what you need to have a dreamy elopement day and dank honeymoon. We run all coordination with hair and make-up artists, third party officiants, and tour guides we work with in case you’d like to add any of their services to your elopement day with us! We’ll also recommend the vendors you need to make your 👏 dream team 👏 of artists.
You’ll also get personal travel advice and a walk through on how to get your marriage license and any permits you may need.
When it comes to your honeymoon no need to research a thing! We will hook you up with a dope itinerary that you get to create along with us. You’ll get let in on the local gems so you can have a memorable and fun trip!

Mal and Halie are creative geniuses that THRIVE off making the dankiest photos for all of the couples they work with. Not to sound boasty over here, but they've been published internationally and awarded for their works and creativity over and over again.
But don’t feel intimidated, Mal’s literally one of the most low-key, silly human beings you’ll probably ever meet. Halie's superpower is making a space where you can truly feel free to be yourselves 😜 The energy spewing out of either of either of them makes feeling comfy in front of their cameras is easy peasy.
You’ll get at least 4 hours of photo time on the day you elope🤘

We LOVE taking our couples off the beaten path and our team invests a ton of time learning new remote locations that REQUIRE a high clearance 4x4 to access.
That's why all of our packs include a 4x4 vehicle if one is required to access the chosen elopement location.

Permits and Marriage filing.
These are the main papers we’ll need to take care of for your elope. Most locations only require a photo permit. If your does, we take care of it for you. There’s no need for you to worry about any of that!
However, occasionally a location does require a special-use permit for the ceremony. This is totally different from a photographer’s permit. We usually won't need to get one of these but in most National Park's our couple will need to apply for one.
We can not do this one for you on your behalf (trust us, we tried😂) However, we can and will walk you through how to apply and help you take care of it! Breathe easy, it’s usually really straightforward and simple to file!
And then regarding your Marriage License, Mal and Halie are ordained. This means if you’d rather share your vows and exchange rings personally, instead of having a third-party lead you through the ceremony, you absolutely can! Legally, they can sign and file your marriage license in lieu of an officiant🤙

We got a herd of artists we love working within all of the locations we shoot. So no stress trying to find someone to come get ya all dolled up for the day. We coordinate allllllll of that for you so you be lookin hella bomb for all those sic pics Mal and Halie are gonna take😛

Although Mal's ordained and will legally file your marriage license for you, the option to include a custom scripted ceremony delivered by a 3rd party officiant or minister is totally an option you can add to any of our packages! We get that you may want to include more to your ceremony that reciting your personal vows and exchanging rings with each other. Therefore, we work with some of the coolest ministers and officiants in all of the locations we visit🙌

If you want to experience a second golden hour in a different location from your elopement or if you're inviting some fam or buds to your elope but still want some extra time alone for your own adventure afterward, you’ll for sure wanna add this one to your build.
We have a ba-jillion recs for awesome trash the dress ideas for couples wanting a wild experience in the location they chose to elope with us in! This session is built for sunset, the day after you elope with us😁

We hate to cap things off, but it's true:
Events with no guests or just a handful of friends and fam tagging along take a lot less time for us to plan out and shoot, and edit than events where the guest count exceeds a dozen or more extra persons.
At this point, we consider these events to be more of an intimate wedding experience rather than an elopement experience.
If you are planning to bring between 15-30 guests we are stoked! But we do have to charge for our extra time🙃
If you're planning on over 30 guests, were prob not the best match for you😬

Arizona
Basecamp will be in Page. We will elope you amongst the epic red rocks in Sedona on the first day and then have you exploring the area, nearby Flagstaff, or right up the road to that world wonder…. the Grand Canyon🤙

Colorado
Basecamp will be near Ouray. We will elope you up on top of the San Juans- don’t worry about getting acclimated for the hike- we get a jeep to get us all the way up there! The next two days we’ll have you exploring the town and trails on the Telluride and Silverton sides of these amazing mountains🙌

Oregon
Basecamp will be near Brookings. We will elope you guys in one of our favorite places along the Samuel H. Corridor on the first day and then we’ll have you exploring the Redwoods National Park some of our other favorite Oregon State parks nearby on the last day! There a lot to see and explore in this region so buckle up!
